Spiced Pomegranate Fizz Mocktail

The holidays are right around the corner and with it comes the excitement of holiday spreads and cheerful meals with loved ones! I’m so excited to share this brand new mocktail with you that is really the celebration of this season in a glass. My Spiced Pomegranate Fizz Mocktail is a refreshing blend of ingredients including Vomfass Pomegranate Vinegar, orange, and warm spices for a festive twist. Now I know what you may be saying “vinegar in a mocktail?” and to that, I say absolutely yes! While this is not exactly a new thing it certainly isn’t the most popular but my goodness are the results ever incredible! The acid in the vinegar adds the most incredible depth.

Do you remember the balsamic coke Tiktok trend? I never tried it myself but it went viral for a minute. Using good quality organic vinegar is super important! You need to like the taste before adding it to any recipe. Makes sense right? Grab your Vomfass vinegar and roll up your sleeves. You are going to love this one. I made this drink specifically to go with my newest dinner recipe which is a Pomegranate Lamb Rice dish and wow the two together really are a match made in culinary heaven! Make this drink and lamb dish for any upcoming dinner guests and know that they will be totally floored by its deliciousness and balance!

Spiced Pomegranate Fizz Mocktail Ingredients

Here’s what you’ll need to make this unique pomegranate mocktail:

  • Vomfass Pomegranate Vinegar: This high-quality vinegar adds a bold, tangy flavour to the drink. Its depth brings out the sweetness of the pomegranate and orange juices.
  • Orange Juice: Adds a touch of citrusy brightness that balances the tartness of the pomegranate vinegar.
  • Zero Proof Aperitivo: This non-alcoholic aperitivo provides a slight bitterness that complements the sweetness, creating a well-rounded drink. This is the one that I like to use.
  • Cinnamon & Ginger: These warm spices bring a cozy touch, perfect for the holiday season.
  • Sparkling Water: Adds the fizz, making this drink light and refreshing.
  • Pomegranate Seeds & Dried Orange: These garnishes make the drink feel extra festive and add visual appeal.

How to Make this Pomegranate Mocktail Recipe

Shake It Up

In a cocktail shaker, combine pomegranate vinegar, orange juice, zero-proof aperitivo, cinnamon, ginger, and ice. Shake vigorously to mix.

Pour and Top

Fill a lowball glass with fresh ice, strain the mixture into your glass and top with sparkling water.

Garnish

Add a few pomegranate seeds and a slice of dried or fresh orange for a festive finish.

Ways to Make This Pomegranate Mocktail Recipe Your Own

  • Make It Boozy: If you’re looking to make this an alcoholic pomegranate drink, add your favourite aperitivo or a splash of sparkling wine instead of sparkling water.
  • Switch Up the Spices: Feel free to add a pinch of nutmeg or cardamom for a warmer, spicier flavour.
  • Batch for a Crowd: This recipe is easy to make in large batches, perfect for holiday gatherings or a festive brunch. Just scale up the ingredients, shake, and serve!

What to Serve with this Pomegranate Mocktail Recipe

This Spiced Pomegranate Fizz Mocktail pairs perfectly with rich, savoury dishes, making it a great companion to my Pomegranate Lamb and Rice. The mocktail’s tangy and slightly sweet profile balances the lamb’s savoury notes beautifully. Serve it with appetizers like Goat’s Cheese Stuffed Dates or a holiday charcuterie board to start your feast on a festive note!

Some Tips For Making This Mocktail

  • Use High-Quality Vinegar: The flavour of your mocktail depends on the quality of the vinegar, so choose one you love, like Vomfass Pomegranate Balsamic Vinegar.
  • Shake Well: Shaking with ice blends the flavours and chills the drink perfectly.
  • Serve Fresh: This mocktail is best served immediately after making, so the sparkling water retains its fizz.
