There are moments when your body quietly asks for support. Not in a dramatic way, just a gentle nudge that says slow down, warm up, nourish yourself. Burnout is real, and it’s something I don’t want to experience ever again. When I get close to it, my body knows… I get more irritable, I don’t perform as well at work, and I’m just overall exhausted, but trying to run on empty. I LOVE coffee, but let’s be real, tea is where the real support is at. This Clementine Immunity Tea is exactly what my body has been asking for since the colder weather has rolled in. It’s made with fresh, sweet clementine, a handful of warming spices, and honey; it’s my favourite way to answer that call!
This isn’t a complicated wellness ritual or a prescription for perfection. It’s a simple, fragrant citrus tea that feels comforting from the first sip. Bright, gently spicy, naturally caffeine free, and deeply soothing, this clementine tea recipe is one you’ll come back to again and again, especially during colder months or stressful seasons. You all adore my immunity elixirs, so I thought I would add more flavours to my website. This tea is so delicious and the perfect way to use up older clementines.
Sometimes the most powerful forms of immune support are also the simplest. A warm mug of tea creates space to pause, breathe, and reconnect with your body. This immunity tea is designed to gently support the immune system through whole ingredients like citrus, ginger, honey, herbs, and spices, while also offering stress relief. When stress is high, immunity often takes a hit. A cup of tea won’t solve everything, but it can be a meaningful place to pause, breathe and reassess.
At its core, immunity tea is any tea made with ingredients known to support immune health, hydration, and nervous system balance. Unlike store-bought immunity teas, this homemade version is vibrant, fresh, and customizable. This tea in particular leans on citrus, specifically from clementine and lemon. When you take the first sip of this immune system boosting tea, you’ll be surprised at how naturally sweet it is. It doesn’t taste “medicinal,” and that’s kind of the luxury of it!
Each ingredient in this honey citrus tea recipe plays a small but meaningful role. Together, these ingredients create one of my favourite immunity boosting teas! Here’s what you’ll need:
Making this clementine tea recipe is beautifully simple. Bring water to a boil and place all the tea ingredients into a teapot (this is the teapot that I used!). Pour freshly boiled water over the mixture, cover, and allow it to steep for about 10 minutes. Once steeped, pour into your favourite mug and enjoy slowly. You can continue topping up the pot with hot water and re-steeping the ingredients until the flavours fade. Add more honey if desired.
This immune support tea fits into many moments throughout the day. I love drinking it first thing in the morning to gently wake up the body, in the afternoon when stress levels rise, or in the evening as a caffeine-free wind-down sip. It’s especially comforting during cold and flu season, after long travel days, or whenever your nervous system needs calming. Because it’s caffeine free, it’s suitable at any time of the day.
There’s something deeply uplifting about citrus in tea. The aroma alone feels energizing, while the flavour remains light and refreshing. Citrus teas like this sweet clementine tea have the perfect balance between warmth and brightness. For me, citrus tea is both grounding and refreshing, which is exactly what I want when I’m feeling tired, sick or just ready to get cozy!
What are the benefits of citrus tea? Citrus tea benefits include hydration, gentle immune support, stress relief, and a natural source of vitamin-rich ingredients.
Can I drink immunity tea every day? Yes. This homemade immunity tea is gentle enough to enjoy daily, especially during colder months or periods of stress.
Can I make this tea without honey? For sure! Omit the honey completely or replace it with maple syrup or agave.
Is this tea good for stress relief? Yes, the warmth, citrus aroma, and slowing down for a tea in itself will support relaxation and reduce stress.
What teapot did you use? This is the same teapot I used; it’s my absolute favourite, so many of you asked about it in the immunity simmer pots!

So I can’t find the Kinta teapot you have on Amazon US..but I can order from their website. Sounds like you really like the Kinta..do you heat that directly on the stove? Love your recipes..will be an avid follower
Hey Charlotte, I do not put the glass teapot on the stove directly, I boil my water and pour it into the teapot! I love this teapot, it’s the perfect size and it’s honestly beautiful and steeps perfectly specially when I’ve filled it up like in this recipe!
Made this and it’s not only good when suffering with a cold/flu – it tastes delicious- I will drink it even when I’m well

The best cup of tea I ever had
Isn’t it divine!!! Please rate the recipe for me 🙂
I like how this tea combines natural ingredients to boost immunity, but I wonder how it compares to more common remedies in effectiveness.
You’ve gotta try to it see how effective it is for you! Everyone is different 🙂
It looks like there is a cinnamon stick in the picture. Is that part of the recipe?
Yes! If you have a cinnamon stick on hand pop it in the pot.
I got the pot and I have made this every day this week. I love it! I substituted raspberries for the pomegranate as I didn’t have any. I’m addicted. Thank you
Hi Peggy! Please don’t forget to rate the recipe 5 stars!
