Life Changing BBQ Tofu

Ingredients

Rub Ingredients

  • 1 package extra firm tofu drained and patted dry
  • tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp smoked paprika
  • tsp cayenne pepper
  • ground pepper
  • tbsp olive oil

Sauce

  • 2 tbsp tamari
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp sriracha or favourite hot sauce
  • 3-4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425 F.
  • Stir the rub ingredients together. Add tofu and gently coat.
  • Place parchment on cookie sheet and transfer tofu to sheet.
  • Roast 15 minutes, flip and roast again for 10 more. Coat with BBQ sauce and place back in the oven for 5-10 minutes until caramelized.
