Rub Ingredients 1 package extra firm tofu drained and patted dry 1½ tsp paprika 1 tsp cumin powder 1 tsp chilli powder 1 tsp garlic powder ½ tsp kosher salt ¼ tsp smoked paprika ⅛ tsp cayenne pepper ground pepper 1½ tbsp olive oil Sauce 2 tbsp tamari 2 tbsp maple syrup 2 tbsp sriracha or favourite hot sauce 3-4 tbsp olive oil 1 tbsp tomato paste
Preheat the oven to 425 F.
Stir the rub ingredients together. Add tofu and gently coat.
Place parchment on cookie sheet and transfer tofu to sheet.
Roast 15 minutes, flip and roast again for 10 more. Coat with BBQ sauce and place back in the oven for 5-10 minutes until caramelized.
