This is my open invitation for you to join me at Casa Niri in Costa Rica this winter for 7 days. Together, we will connect in one of the world’s five Blue Zones on a hillside in one of the most beautiful estates Samara has to offer.
Let’s listen to the jungle, watch the howler monkeys, eat some delicious food, and wander some of the most gorgeous beaches on the Pacific Coast.
When we are not journaling or exploring the nearby towns and beaches, we’ll be savouring a deep and delicious movement practice twice daily, meditating and aligning to our chakras – one day at a time.

Suites 1-3: All suites offer a shared, intimate space perfect for those traveling with a companion. You should be comfortable sharing a bed, dressing area, and bathroom. These suites cannot be sold to individuals.
Bunk Room: The Bunk Room is for Women only and can be reserved by individuals. This is an inclusive and welcoming environment for all participants so if you are attending solo this option is a great way to meet new people!

Yes, we will have an optional shared shuttle available on the first and last day of the retreat that goes from the airport in Liberia to the retreat centre. If you are not arriving that day, then let us know and we’ll talk options with you.
Our guests typically come from many different locations and they often arrive early or stay a couple of extra days, we decided that flight arrangements are best left to the individual.Â
The Yoga sessions will be suitable for all levels. Teri will give guidance and options for people that are new to Yoga as well as people who have practiced for many years.
No, mats will be supplied but feel free to bring one along if you have a favourite.
Yes. We will be asking for food preferences and requirements about a month before the retreat and we can accommodate vegans and vegetarians.
Yes. We will be asking for any food allergies should be able to accommodate most common allergies. If you are concerned and want to check before you book, please let us know and we’ll answer right away.
No, this retreat is intended to be substance free. We will have a couple of day trips into Samara and there are restaurants in the town and along the beach where you can have a drink.
No, this retreat is intended to be substance free. This includes cigars, cigarettes, eCigarettes (Vapes), and weed. We will have a couple of day trips into Samara and you can partake there if you want.
No, we will provide beautiful Turkish towels for bath, beach & pool. We also provide Etsy sourced Turkish waffle towels for the face & hands.
There are no special requirements for Costa Rica but we will send out a check list about a month before the retreat with some items we recommend.
No, you shouldn’t need a car during the retreat as we will make arrangements for any activities. If you will be staying in Costa Rica before or after the retreat, you might want to consider renting. Driving in Costa Rica is safe and manageable with a few small caveats.
There is very good wifi at the retreat centre.
Costa Rica has the same 2 and 3 prong plugs as Canada and the United States.
Yes, we provide hairdryers, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap & body moisturizer.  Feel free to bring any other toiletries you might need.
Yes, there is a washer/dryer on site but remember it will be used to wash things we use during the retreat and there are other guests so it will be contended. Bring more than one set of everything!
The retreat centre (Casa Niri) is overlooking the ocean and is therefore up a fairly steep hill. Walking to the beach is not encouraged and we will supply transportation for some day trips during the retreat including one to the town of Samara (a quaint little beach town) and one to Playa Carrillo (a peaceful beach with palm trees and sand)
