Snickers Date Bark

This Snickers-inspired date bark is the easiest, healthiest chocolate bark recipe you’ll ever try! Ingredients

Instructions

  • place parchment on a cookie sheet.
  • remove pit from the dates and open them up. Place on the cookie sheet 4x4.
  • place a second piece of parchment on top and flatten them with a rolling pin or a flat bottomed surface.
  • spread runny peanut butter evenly on top. Don't worry if it runs through the dates!
  • press 3/4 of the peanuts into the peanut butter.
  • melt chocolate and oil together in the microwave or in a double boiler until smooth.
  • pour chocolate on top. Use a spatula to spread it as evenly as possible. Sprinkle with sea salt and place it in the freezer to set for 2 hours.
  • once hard, remove from the freezer and place on a cutting board. Use a sharp knife to cut into pieces.
  • store in an air-tight container in the freezer.
  • best eaten straight from the freezer!

Notes

I love switching up the nut and seed butters for this recipe. You can use whatever nut or seed you fancy!
