Almond Butter

There’s something so grounding about making your own homemade Almond Butter; all it takes is a little patience! Roasted almonds, a touch of salt, and a strong food processor. This easy almond butter recipe creates a smooth, creamy spread that’s perfect for toast, oatmeal, baking, or spoonfuls straight from the jar. Once you make it yourself, you’ll never go back to store-bought.

  • cups raw almonds
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350d.
  • Spread almonds onto a baking sheet.
  • Bake almonds for 15-20 minutes until they start to brown and become fragrant.
  • Carefully add nuts to a food processor.
  • Turn on the processor and blend for 2-3 minutes. Scrape down the sides and then continue blending. This process should take 7-10 minutes, depending on the strength of your food processor.
  • Add salt and process until the nut butter is very smooth and creamy.
  • Transfer to a mason jar. Keep in the pantry for up to 1 month.
