Hi Shirin, You can absolutely omit the protein powder!!! Maybe add hemp seeds if you have those on hand to pump up the protein! Happy Baking :)

Dear Teri,
I don’t have the Chai Vanilla Protein. However, I do have the spices. Can I just omit the Protein ? Can I replace it with something else?

This is the only gift I gave over the holidays—seriously. If I love you, you got Tahini Chocolate Chai Granola. If you’re my daughter’s teacher, principal, friend… granola! Second cousin twice removed? GRANOLA! I made so many batches, bought cute little granola bags and made labels. Everyone loved it and most of them ate it directly out of the bag! Fabulous recipe, truly!

Hi Shamyla, I am sad to hear your granola wasn't crunchy. Have you checked out my blog post with all my tips and tricks? Click here What it sounds like to me is that the pan you were using was too small. I recommend 2 pans for even baking. If the mixture is too thick it won't cook all the way through. The top will be brown but the underneath won't be. I hope that helps and please check out the blog post! xx

Hi Teri, I made this but half a batch and it hasn't come out crunchy. I took it out once it was golden but I'm not sure what to do next time.
My oats were quick oats and I added flax and chia seeds.
Any chance baking it more will crisp them up?
My oven is temperamental so I use a low setting.

Hey Terri, I don't have one. I make my own chai spice blend and use several different brands. Please check out this link for my faves!

Hey Balsam, that is totally depending on how you'd like to experience your raisins, adding them before (depending on the condition of the raisin can dry it out) but not always, you can also add them after if you prefer them to stay more plump. Happy baking!
