Introducing the 3 Ingredient Chickpea Chocolate Bark; a simple yet unique approach to chocolate treats that's sure to satisfy your sweet tooth without the guilt. This recipe cleverly incorporates chickpeas to add fiber and protein! Perfect for a quick dessert or a healthy snack, this chocolate bark is easy to make, requires only a few ingredients and minimal prep time.

Equipment

  • air fryer, freezer, parchment paper, cookie sheet

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups chickpeas drained rinsed, skins removed and dried well
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 cups dark chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup almond butter
  • maldon Sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat airfryer to 390 for 3 minutes.
  • Place prepared chickpeas in a bowl and drizzle with oil and salt. Stir to coat and place in the air fryer. Air fry for approximately 15 minutes shaking the basket every few minutes to ensure even frying. Chickpeas should be crispy. Keep air frying until you reach desired crispiness. Set aside to cool. They will crisp up more as they cool.
  • Melt chocolate until smooth. Add almond butter to chocolate and stir to combine.
  • Place parchment onto a cookie sheet.
  • Add cooled chickpeas to chocolate mixture and stir to coat. Spread evenly onto parchment paper.
  • Place into the freezer for 1 hour or until fully set. Sprinkle with maldon salt.
  • Break into pieces using a sharp knife. Store in the freezer.
