I’ve tried making granola with dried fruit several times, but unfortunately the fruit always ends up burning. I’ve tried soaking it beforehand and even covering the granola with parchment paper while baking, but neither really helped. I’ve now given up adding dried fruit altogether and much prefer making granola without it.
